Lucia Priselac is the Founding Director of The Uproot Project a nonprofit organization launched in March 2021 to advance the careers of journalists of color who have been historically underrepresented when it comes to reporting on environment and science-related issues. Lucia is a proponent of individuals doing little acts to make their daily lives more sustainable and she provides concrete examples of how to bring about sustainable change in underserved communities.
